The eye in the sky has always been a “thing” with hot rodders and gear heads. Well at least since VonDutch started painting it back in the day.

Here’s Harry’s take on the classic flying eye with a bit of a California Surf Theme. Notice the chrome bars and wood grain… kind of makes you want to drive a VW bus doesn’t it? No… us either.

Anyway, the original Black Eye is automotive paint on 2′ x 5′ aluminum sheet. That original is sold, but it’s now reproduced as posters and limited edition Giclee print on metal. Metal prints are float mounted with offset back so they stand off the wall 1/2 inch for a nice 3-D effect.
