You know… we could probably make a gallery out of just this car, but we’ll spare you.
Fortunately I’m happy to say Mike Pesco (the owner) is just as pleased as we are and that’s like being in school again and getting the dreaded report card. Although the difference here is that I was confident of a passing grade on this baby.
In case you missed it, this is a 1950 Oldsmobile 88 wagon. Rumor has it, we were the only ones in Northern Cali willing to take on the exterior wood grain so despite our fabulous reputation and obvious charm, we got this almost by default. HA!
All kidding aside, we think our wood grain works speaks for itself and not only did we earn this one, but we’re hoping to earn a couple more when the Mike’s buddies in the Santa Cruz Woody Club get an eyeful of this classic surf wagon.
